DESCRIPTION:Look\, play\, and learn with your child at Mini Mia! This free program occurs on the first Wednesday of the month and various Saturdays\, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. \nRotate through various kid-friendly activities at your leisure. Enjoy simple art making\, a gallery experience specially designed for caregivers and little ones (ages 0–5)\, and a movement class. Make new friends and introduce your child to the wonders of art in a comfortable\, kid-friendly setting. \nA 30-minute movement class start at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Art making and gallery visits are available for the duration of the program. \nWe recommend wearing comfortable clothing and a front-facing carrier (if appropriate) for this program. \nFree registration is required. Registration opens on the 15th of the month for the upcoming month’s sessions. \nFAQs\nQ: What should I bring?\nWe recommend a front-facing carrier for infants\, and comfortable clothing for you and your child. You are welcome to bring a stroller\, and snacks or drinks\, but we ask that you do not consume snacks or drinks during our time in the galleries. Bags\, parcels\, and backpacks larger than 15 x 15 inches are not allowed in the museum. \nQ: Do you have family bathrooms?\nYes. Our first-floor Family Center has an all-gender family bathroom with an accessible nursing room and changing table. We have accessible bathrooms on the second and third floors as well. \nQ: Do I need to register beforehand?\nYes. Advance registration is required\, and space is limited. \nQ: What if I need to cancel?\nWe understand that plans can change fast with little ones.
