The Carved Pumpkin Collective | St Louis Park

The Carved Pumpkin Collective
Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 | Dusk to 9 pm
8811 Club Rd., St. Louis Park
Every Halloween, one St. Louis Park front yard fills with more than 100 intricately carved pumpkins, and the neighbors have stopped pretending they aren’t impressed. The Carved Pumpkin Collective is a free, family friendly display featuring everything from simple traditional faces to etched, sculpted, painted and fully 3D designs. Past themes have included Star Wars, Harry Potter, Stranger Things, The Muppets and a lineup of album covers, along with plenty of animals, pop culture favorites and kid picks. Each year also brings an R.I.P. collection honoring notable figures who passed away during the year.
Grab a hot drink, warm up by the fire pit or standing heater, and pose for a photo on the hay bales. The surrounding Cedar Manor neighborhood blocks off its streets for trick or treating, which makes it an easy stop to fold into your Halloween night plans.
Want your own pumpkin in the lineup? Organizers will display any carved pumpkin regardless of skill level, as long as it skips political messaging. Drop yours off on or before October 30 and help top last year’s record of 153 pumpkins.
Admission is free, and donations support the St. Louis Park STEP program, which provides aid to local families in need.
