This post is for any of you that are on the fence to coming to our launch party tonight! I have
the ticket to making you look fashionable even if you are a tired Momma who doesn’t feel fashionable.
I’m not a style editor of the latest fashion magazine nor will I ever claim to be “on trend” every day of the
year, but I have a trick that seems to work for me when I get dressed, so I will share!
I have always been a jewelry addict. It’s just my thang’.
Whether it’s a bracelet or a necklace or
a big, fat, cocktail ring…the stuff makes my heart race.
My poor husband, if he’s reading this, he’s prolly rolling his eyes.Imagine having to be the man that provides this
self-proclaimed jewelry junkie, a wedding ring?!
I like to buy a lot of basics in my clothing. “Classic” options that can provide a wide variety of outfits and make getting dressed a breeze. I add the bada’bing to an outfit with a big, chunky piece of jewelry.
To me, that’s the icing on the cake, or the lipstick you add to complete the look. I’m gonna be in big trouble when this statement necklace trend goes away. I make sure I have lots that can complete an outfit.
Trust me, I know you can spend lots on jewelry. I don’t. I have some that cost more than others, but mainly, I try to spend under $20 on a statement necklace. First off, there are tons of Facebook pages for jewelry/accessories at low prices, some offer auctions with minimum quantities and free or low shipping. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Jewelry Nut Auctions
Simple Addiction
Jane
Glam Grab Accessory Auction
I “like” them on Facebook and I sign up for their daily emails…it’s dangerous, so don’t tell your significant other or whomever does the budgeting in tu casa. I also travel for my work, I know not all of you do, but when I travel, I ask people if they know of stores like Charming Charlies or whatever the name is locally. Then I pop over and see what they have to offer.I recently discovered Versona in North Carolina which is all over the southern US. Texas has a store called Sam Moon that I scored at as well.
One more thing I just figured out is that Etsy is not just for homemade items. I don’t know how they get away with this, but I go to Etsy and in the search bar I type in Jewelry and whatever stores I like…J.Crew or Anthropologie, etc. They have knock offs for a much lower cost and that way I can look like a million bucks and I didn’t break the bank.
Please, tell me your favorites…message me if you don’t want the whole world to know your secrets. I find that the more people know these secrets, that will drive down the price due to high demand. I could be wrong, but I’m here to share anything that makes a woman look good, feel good about herself and boost her confidence and it doesn’t have to cost that much!
I’m looking forward to meeting all of you tonight! I will be wearing a smile and a big, fat, statement necklace!

I adore the bright colorful one in the last pic! Great find! My first statement pieces were giving to me by my little girls at Christmas. They must have wanted me to wear more bling.
I’ve often thought that my daughter is going to inherit quite the haul someday! So, just tell your girls that you need jewelry to give them someday!! I may wear the one you mentioned tonight…still don’t know 🙂
Vintage daisy all the way! Fun post
Totally off the subject, but you have a beautiful neck!
Why thank you!
