After years of selling out the wildly popular Legends of Country tribute, Minnesotan piano man Phil Thompson returns to the Fireside to debut his brand-new concert experience: Prime Country – ’80s & ’90s Hits!

The country music explosion of the 1980s and ’90s gave rise to legendary artists like George Strait, Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Alabama, Randy Travis, Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood, Diamond Rio, Sawyer Brown, John Michael Montgomery and John Anderson—artists who helped define the golden era of modern country. The first half of the show spotlights unforgettable hits from the ’80s, followed by a second act dedicated entirely to the ’90s. Headlining this must-see show is Phil Thompson backed by an all-star country band featuring Matt Berry (John Michael Montgomery’s touring guitarist), Pat Frederick (Daisy Dillman) on fiddle, Brian Peters on steel guitar, Tristana Ward on vocals and a rock-solid rhythm section with Justin Mishler on bass and Zach Brawford on drums.
