Keep Them Entertained During the First Big Snow of the Year | Twin Cities Familys Blog

We hear the first sizable snow fall of the season is coming Monday evening into Tuesday, potentially up to 10 inches. What’s nice about the timing is there’s no concern about missing school, late starts, etc., just the mess of the morning commute. Maybe you’re home from work over the holidays, or your home with more kids than usual as they take their break. Whatever the case, we want to be sure you have a few resources to keep you all entertained – there are plenty of Twin Cities indoor activities – here’s where to find them.

Take a peek at our Indoor Activity Pinterest Board for a ton of ideas to make being stuck at home more fun.

Move family game night to the afternoon, do a science experiment, make pancakes at 3pm, join one of our Neighborhood Groups or Community Groups for a chance to get connected to moms in your neighborhood, or maybe even meet your MBFF. In the end, the kids being bored isn’t always the worst thing in the world – it’s great for character building. And if their character building starts to drive you crazy, plan your next moms’ night out.

Let us know what you are doing to keep busy and keep everyone happy during our first big snow fall – do you head outside into the elements or hunker down?
