4th of July Hometown Celebration & Fireworks | Woodbury

Fourth of July fireworks are back! Pack up the lawn chairs and come to M Health Fairview Sports Center for Woodbury’s annual hometown celebration. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with outdoor concessions and food trucks. Families can bring a football or a frisbee and enjoy the evening on some green space or play at Madison’s Place playground and the free outdoor splash pad (open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.).

The fireworks display kicks off at 10 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own seating and blankets. Enjoy the 4th of July Hometown Celebration!

Sidewalk Chalk Competition 

This free-to-participate competition runs from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Green Field Shelter next to the tennis courts at the M Health Fairview Sports Center. We provide the chalk, you bring the creativity. Create your masterpiece, show off your artistic skills, and compete for prizes. Winners will be announced at 8:00 p.m. and must be present to claim their prize.

Walk Your Wheels

For everyone’s safety, attendees are required to “Walk Your Wheels” in crowded pedestrian areas. Bicycles, scooters and other wheeled devices must be walked rather than ridden in pedestrian areas during the event.
