Remember the thrill of a Scholastic Book Fair as a kid? We’re bringing that nostalgia back—but for grown-ups! 🎉

In 2025 we featured 140 local authors, publishers, bookstores, and crafters all in one place We held it in the Education Building at the State Fair Grounds.

Based on the success and feedback from 2025, we are moving a larger venue. The Grandstand at the State Fair Grounds will be the home for the 2026 State Fair Book Fair for Grown Ups. We have confirmed 240 authors, bookstores, publishers, and makers. There will be a food trucks and craft beverages available outdoors in front of the Grandstand.

  • July 11th, 2026 from 12:00-7:00PM (VIP entrance at 11:00AM) in the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand

  • Discover new books and meet local authors

  • Shop from indie bookstores and bookish crafters

  • Sip on craft beverages while you browse
