America 250 Day Celebration | Anoka County Fair
The Anoka County Fair will celebrate America 250 Day on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, with a full day of patriotic fun, family activities, military and first responder appreciation, grandstand entertainment, and fireworks at dusk.
As part of America 250 Day, the Anoka County Fair will honor Veterans, Active Military, First Responders, and their families. Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders can receive $10 gate admission on Wednesday, July 22, with valid proof of service or first responder identification. This offer is only available at the gate and is not available online.
Guests can also enjoy a special America 250 midway promotion with $2.50 carnival rides until 2:50 PM, making it a perfect day for families to come early and enjoy the fair.
One of the featured experiences of the day will be free Ferris wheel sketches with Rum River Art Center from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ferris Wheel/Carnival area. Guests will have the opportunity to ride the Ferris wheel for free while an artist rides along and sketches them during the ride. By the time the ride is over, guests will receive their finished drawing to take home. This experience is available while supplies last.
The day continues with fair favorites including pig races, transformational agriculture education, live music, animal shows, food, vendors, and family activities throughout the fairgrounds.
Wednesday night will feature Bull Riding in the Mauer Auto Group Grandstand, included with gate admission, followed by the America 250 Fireworks Show at dusk.
