Minneapolis Downtown Parks and Mad Cap Factory invite you to the inaugural Summer Snowball Classic—a one-night-only celebration bringing real snow to the heart of Downtown Minneapolis.

For one unforgettable evening, The Commons Park will transform into a snowy playground where kids and adults alike can experience the magic of winter in the middle of July.

Whether you’re looking to compete, play or simply cool off, there’s something for everyone.

Snow Competitions

Throughout the evening, organized competitions will be offered in two age divisions:

• Kids (12 & under)
• Adults (13 & over)

Competition events include:

• Snowball Target Practice
• Snowball Dodgeball
• Snowball Duels
• Last Snowball Standing

Participant Waiver: All competition participants must sign a waiver before taking part in snow activities. Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf.

Protective goggles are required for all youth participants and will be provided.

Food & Drinks

Local food trucks will be on-site with food available for purchase.

Guests 21+ can enjoy beverages from the Pryes Brewing Co. Beer Garden with a valid ID.
