About BIRDS SING THEIR WORDS:
Awaken young children to the sounds birds make, and to their own unique voices. In BIRDS SING THEIR WORDS, two young children notice the birds outdoors and, together with an adult, embark on a walk through their neighborhood. They observe a variety of birds along the way, listening to their calls and noticing how their own voices parallel the many songs that birds sing.

To attend: This event is open to the public, but registration helps us when considering spatial constraints. You can register for a ticket for free using the button to the right through April 19, 9:00am, and preorder the books at the bottom of this page. Additional copies of TREES STAND TALL and BIRDS SING THEIR WORDS will be available for purchase during the event, but ordering ahead guarantees your copy.
Signing Guidelines: Following the event, Mélina Mangal will sign and personalize copies of the books. If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon can have your books signed and personalized for you and will contact you when they’re ready to be picked up.
