A new edition to Eastman’s EveryBODY program. Winter can be a time we shut ourselves indoors, but with the right equipment and planning, even bodies with limited mobility can enjoy nature in the wintertime.
Discover the winter woods at your own pace. During our time outside on the trails we will search for animal tracks, identify winter bird sounds and explore how plants and animals survive this season. This experience will take place on relatively flat terrain and at your own pace. It is designed to allow all participants to enjoy the activity comfortably. We have poles for added walking stability and KHW Snow Comfort Sleds for those with limited mobility. Snowshoes will be available for participants that would like to try them.
