Family Day: Express Yourself | Mia – Minneapolis Institute of Arts

Join Mia’s free monthly event for families, kids, and the young at heart. On the second Sunday of every month, the museum is filled with hands-on art activities, storytelling, artist demonstrations, gallery hunts, self-guided tours, and more—all inspired by Mia’s incredible collection.

On August 9, beat the heat and stop by Mia to get inspired. Make unique accessories in our studios with teaching artist Maya O’Reilly. Akiko Ostlund leads a puppet show, then helps you create your own puppet. Participate in a movement activity and enjoy story time with The Children’s Theatre Company.
