Beginning June 1, the vacant lot at 926 Payne Ave. will be transformed into a welcoming outdoor plaza featuring free family-friendly activities, including lawn games, board games, multicultural story times, and World Cup viewing parties.
All summer long, enjoy a free place to connect with locals, play lawn games, delve into delicious cuisine from nearby restaurants on the plaza patio, and tune in to the World Cup soccer games during outdoor viewing parties for the 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. games on Fridays-Saturdays at the Plaza on Payne Avenue.
Play on Payne is a collaboration between ESNDC and The Musicant Group designed to bring people together, support local businesses, and celebrate the vibrant culture of the East Side.
We’re excited to create new opportunities for neighbors, families, and visitors to connect while supporting the businesses that make Payne Avenue such a special place.
