All Aboard for the Roundhouse Egg Hunt at the Minnesota Transportation Museum!
Hop on over to the Minnesota Transportation Museum on Saturday, April 19th, for a day filled with trains, springtime fun, festive activities, and an egg hunt like no other!
Here’s what to look forward to:
- The Bunny Train – Hop aboard and take a festive train ride with a touch of springtime magic!
- 5,000-Piece Egg Hunt – Choose between two scheduled times for a GRAND dash ‘n grab style egg hunt. Also, keep your eyes peeled throughout your time inside the museum!
*Egg Hunt geared toward guests under 10 years old.
*Carrot Scavenger Hunt for those 12 years old and up, self-paced, available all day.
- Face Painting – Fun, festive designs for kids and the young at heart.
- Museum Tours – Explore fascinating exhibits, get close to real trains, and uncover the stories of transportation history.
- Hands-on Activities – kid’s craft station, family-friendly yard games
- Admission includes access to all above activities! Gather your family and friends and join us for a memorable springtime celebration at MTM!
- Tickets available HERE or at the ticket office day of the event.
- Food & Drink – On-site food truck to please your palate as well as snacks available in gift shop.
Egg Hunt Details: To provide an unmatched experience, the Roundhouse will host two scheduled dash ‘n grab style egg hunts:
*Both dash ‘n grabs geared towards those under 10 years old
- Morning Admission: 10:00am, Egg Hunt at 10:30am
- Afternoon Admission: 1:00pm, Egg Hunt at 1:30pm
In addition to these scheduled hunts, eggs will be “hidden” throughout the museum, creating hours of fun and lasting memories!
A Carrot Scavenger Hunt, geared towards 12 year olds and up, designed to be done at your own pace, will be available all day.
The Bunny Train will be running from 10:45 AM – 12:45pm and 1:45 – 3:45 PM. You can reserve your ride time and number of riders through the confirmation email you’ll receive after purchasing your tickets. The Bunny Train lasts about 15 min.
Walk-ups are always welcome at the Minnesota Transportation Museum. However, to guarantee a spot on the Bunny Train, we highly recommend pre-purchasing your tickets.
