Songs of Hope Youth Concert | EM Pearson – Theatre

In a year with Minnesota frequently making global news, children and young adults from Guatemala, Mexico, Turkey, and Jamaica will be in Saint Paul to present a fun, heart-filled concert of wondrously varied songs, with traditional and popular songs from their countries, a beautiful mix of songs about rivers, playful clapping songs, danceable dance songs, Cuban Mambo songs—and for you lovers of old-timey rock ‘n roll, a medley of those rollicking, frequently familiar Fifties and Sixties songs famous for their do-wah-diddies and rama-lama-ding-dongs. Thanks to a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, the concert is low-cost for audiences of all ages—and if you happen to know every word to every rock song, we promise not to ask your age!
