Special Olympics Young Athletes Festival | National Sports Center – Blaine

Minnesota is hosting the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games this summer and a highlight of this event will be the Young Athletes Festival. The Young Athletes Festival is a high-energy, superhero-themed experience designed for children ages 2–7 of all abilities to play, move, and explore together. At the Special Olympics USA Games, young participants will step into a world of imagination as they run, jump, throw, and balance through engaging, play-based activity stations, all while becoming “superheroes” in their own way. The festival focuses on building foundational motor skills, confidence, and social connections in a fun, welcoming environment where every child is celebrated. Families and groups are invited to join this joyful introduction to movement, inclusion, and the spirit of Special Olympics.
