‘World of Wonder’ Storytime | Wild Rumpus
February 27 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

It’s PAJAMA STORY TIME!
And this time, we will have a special guest with us — Valarie Kaur! She’s in town celebrating her new, beautiful picture book, ‘World of Wonder’, which is the perfect book for bedtime cozies!
Show up in your PJs (adults and kids alike!) with your teddy in tow, grab a bedtime snack, and join us in the heart of Wild Rumpus for some cozy bedtime stories! Our usual story time is truly a wild rumpus, but we’re taking things a little slower this evening. It’s time to get cozy!!
We will read Valarie’s new book, along with other story time faves!
Story time lasts 25-30 minutes, so there’s plenty of time to mosey home to bed. (and you’re already in your PJs! Bonus!)
ABOUT THE BOOK:
A picture book about a young child who learns to navigate the world with a sense of wonder and amazement, by activist and award-winning documentarian Valarie Kaur.
Explore the marvels of the world with Wonder Baby!
An ant on a leaf! A new friend at the beach! Wonder Baby says, “Wow! Whoa! You’re a part of me I don’t yet know.” Even when confronted with injustice in the world or unkindness at the park, Wonder Baby learns that wonder is the root of empathy and love. Wonder Baby chooses to love everything alive.
With lyrical text by activist and award-winning documentarian Valarie Kaur and vibrant illustrations by Cynthia Alonso, World of Wonder encourages young readers to look at the world with revolutionary love.
