Many theaters offer exciting family film lineups this summer with great deals for free and cheap movies. Check out the free movies offered at your local park district. Or maybe give your kids the taste of movie viewing from years ago with a classic drive-in experience! So many choices, you could be entertained all summer long.

Kids’ tickets are always $2 off and this dinner and a movie concept has a great kids’ menu making it a fun afternoon. They also offer Kids’ Camp screenings during summer and winter breaks, for affordable moviegoing. All Kids Camp tickets are $5 for everyone – little kids, big kids, and grownup kids – and each week brings a new selection, ranging from recent animated favorites to timeless classics. This summer movie series offers family-friendly movies at 10 AM and 12:30 PM matinees Tuesday-Thursday each week. $5 each or $3 for Backstage Pass members (free to join):

Emagine Summer Kids Series | Various Locations

This popular movie series features a new movie each week at participating Emagine movie theaters around the metro. Join in on Wednesday and Thursday mornings throughout the summer h at 10 am for your favorite kids’ movies.  


Marcus Theaters | Various Locations

The Kids Dream Summer Family Film Series offer family-friendly movies all summer. Deals on refreshments are also available.

The beloved neighborhood vintage movie theater is back with another great series of kids’ movies this summer. Their Summer Kids Matinees are $1.00 for general admission seats. And of course, don’t forget their amazing and cheap popcorn.
