Kids Sunday
Family Sundays are designed with kids in mind and include special activities and promotions available only on Sundays at Target Field.
- Kids FREE Ice Cream: New this season; kids 12 and under receive a complimentary novelty ice cream treat during the game. Pick up free ice cream at Sections 101, 116, 120, 130, and 302.
- Bullseye’s Backyard: Available every Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day on the Gate 34 lawn. Activities include cornhole, mini golf, a baseball card photo station, face painting, and other family-friendly games.
- Kids Meals: Kids meals are half-priced (reduced from $8 to $4) at select locations, including Taste of Twins Territory (near Section 124), Hennepin Grille (near Sections 311 and 105), Mill City Grille (near Section 105), and pizza concession stands near Sections 122 and 218. Entrée options vary by location and include hot dogs, chicken tenders, and pizza slices.
- Running the Bases: After every Sunday home game, the Twins invite all guests ages 12 and under to run the bases. Kids wishing to participate in this event should proceed to the North Ramp area on the Main Concourse, near Section 130, to access the field.
For very young children, we politely request that only one adult accompany the child as they run the bases. Because spots are limited, we suggest guests begin lining up for this post-game activity at the conclusion of the 7th inning.
Activities at Target Field
Explore all that Target Field has to offer! Here are some must-see spots when visiting the ballpark, perfect for kids’ activities or family photo opportunities!
- Golden Glove: One of the most iconic photo spots is on the Target Plaza, right outside the Gate 34 entrance. There sits ‘The Golden Glove’, a seven-foot by nine-foot statue which honors all past Twins Gold Glove winners. Be careful in the summer months, as the surface might become hot.
- T.C.’s Clubhouse: Visit the plaza near Gate 34 during the 3rd inning for a photo opportunity with T.C. Bear. T.C Bear can also be found throughout the concourse during the game.
- Second-Level Statues: Near T.C.’s Clubhouse and scattered throughout the 2nd level are statues of Mickey Mouse and Snoopy, perfect for young kids to take photos next to.
- Target Plaza: One of the most popular spots for a family photo is near the railing of the outfield by Target Plaza. Get the view of home plate and Target Field in the background for your next Christmas card!
- Visit Sue the Organist: Stop by Twins Pub, located on the Terrace Level tucked behind home plate, and get the opportunity to see and chat with Sue Nelson in between tunes.
Family Amenities
Target Field offers several dedicated spaces throughout the ballpark to support families and guests with specific needs.
- Sensory Suite: Located on the Suite Level, the Sensory Suite has been renovated to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests who may need a break from the noise and crowd atmosphere. Sensory kits are also available free of charge at Guest Service stations throughout the ballpark.
- Family Restrooms: Family restrooms are available on the Main Concourse near Sections 111, 123, 132, and 134, as well as across from the camera platform above center field; on the Grandstand level near Section 238; on the Suite Level near Suite 14 and Skyline Suite 2; and on the Terrace Concourse near Sections 208, 214, and 220.
- Mother’s Rooms: Private nursing rooms are available for mothers in the Guest Service Centers near Sections 113 and 204.
