10 Things We Always Pack in Our Football Bag

Football season is officially here. And for some, this might be the first time that you have a little one taking to the gridiron. When it comes to knowing what to pack in your football bag – we have a few suggestions that will help you be prepared, so that you can sit back and relax under those Friday Night Lights!

Football Survival Bag Essentials

For the Parents

  • water bottle (we love the Stanley or a Hydroflask to keep water ice cold!)
  • wet wipes
  • hot hands
  • first aid kit
  • empty grocery sack
  • waterproof athletic tape – (for taping fingers or fixing shoulder pads, cleats…)
  • blanket
  • umbrella
  • travel cooler with snacks
  • collapsable wagon

Other things to consider:

  • bug spray
  • instant cold pack
  • extra mouth guards
  • sunscreen
  • tissues

For the Athletes

  • an extra football
  • gloves
  • 2 water bottles (we keep one empty and always leave it in there just in case we forget ours)
  • cleats
  • sandals or slides (for after the game)
  • flag belts (for flag football)
  • absorbent towel
