This spring, transport yourself to a lush, tropical getaway—no plane ticket required. From March 23 to April 6, 2025, the Galleria Shopping Center in Edina, Minnesota, will bloom into a vibrant island-inspired oasis during the “Escape to Paradise” Floral Experience, created in collaboration with Bachman’s.
This immersive floral event invites visitors to wander through stunning botanical displays designed to evoke the sights, scents, and serenity of paradise. Featuring over 100 varieties of flowers, trees, and plants, the experience includes more than 3,000 bulbs specially forced into early bloom by Bachman’s expert growers. These bulbs begin their journey seven weeks ahead of the event, traveling 4,166 miles from Holland to Minneapolis before reaching peak beauty inside Galleria’s sunlit spaces.
More than 20 vivid displays and themed vignettes—each crafted by a team of over 20 garden designers, horticulturists, and installers—will be showcased throughout the center. Five semi-trucks deliver this floral dreamscape from Bachman’s greenhouses to Galleria, with additional blooms sourced from Florida, California, Ohio, and South America to enhance the lush, tropical feel.
This year’s Escape to Paradise theme features showstopping installations like towering palms made of greenery, cascading waterfalls of blooms, and whimsical garden hideaways perfect for a photo moment. Expect a dazzling range of textures, colors, and scents—all designed to spark joy and celebrate the season of renewal.
Bachman’s gardening experts will be on hand throughout the event to share tips and insights, and mobile watering carts and overnight care will keep every bloom looking fresh and radiant. Best of all, admission is free and open to the public during Galleria’s regular hours.
