Homeschool Day | Bell Museum – St Paul

Join us at the Bell Museum for special homeschool days. Bring your group and enjoy hands-on science labs and immersive planetarium shows that complement your science curriculum.
- Experience our education classrooms! Hands-on activities for all ages include exploring extremophiles in outer space, creating climate action zines, and building beaver dams.
- Explore our the new exhibit, Wild Beauty: The Botanical Art of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden Florilegium. Wild Beauty displays 111 watercolors depicting the plants of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden, and includes activities such as a collaborative garden mural and an opportunity to learn to draw plants.
- The Bell Museum has expanded its K12 visit experiences with our On Native Land program thanks to funding from Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. These programs, Gidinendamowinaan and Kapémni, explore Minnesota’s natural history through Ojibwe and Dakhóta traditional ecological ways of knowing. During Homeschool Day you’re invited to join our On Native Land educators for a fun hands-on activity.
- Join Bell Museum staff for a Story Time especially for children ages 2-7 (but all ages welcome).
- Grab a ticket to explore “Solar System Road Trip” in the Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium.
