Come celebrate the release of Ivy Ever After, a middle-grade fantasy novel by local author Avalon George!
When Ivy’s hospital nurse reveals her magic, Ivy’s desperate desire to attend the school dance carries her to Hazelbrook, where a dragon guards the kingdom’s happily ever after and a single wish that may hold the key to hers. With the help of a spunky mushroom knight and a few other new friends, she’ll have to find the courage to become the hero she didn’t think she could be and earn the wish that could give her a “normal girl” night of bliss at her first school dance.
Inspired by the author’s own experience growing up with cystic fibrosis, Ivy Ever After blends chronic illness representation, fairy tale adventure, friendship, and a whole lot of magic.
