This exhibit is truly unlike anything the zoo has ever had! You are able to walk around with free-roaming animals in this truly immersive experience. The kangaroos are roaming in their natural habitat, so don’t be alarmed if one hops right alongside you! For the kids, they also have interactive displays as well as a giant safari truck they can climb in and explore!

Aside from Kangaroo Crossing, there are several other Australian-themed events at the zoo including:

This special package includes a 2-hour program themed around the Australian Outback, animal encounters with photo ops, camel rides, the opportunity to meet an Australian exhibit keeper, and even a special gift for the birthday child! These are filling up quickly, so book your party now!

Backstage with Kangaroos: get a small-group experience where you can feed the kangaroos and help the keepers release the animals out into the exhibit. Enjoy a behind the scenes look at where the kangaroos live and ask any questions you would like to the keepers! Register online.

Australia After Dark: your family can stay overnight at the zoo with the kangaroos! Camp out in the outback and witness these animals in a whole new way! Limited space available, so grab your spot soon!
