Recap: Metropolitan Pediatric Dental playdate at Way Cool Cooking School

Another fun Metro Pediatric Dental Associates playdate in the books!

Novplaydate

We met up at the Way Cool Cooking School in Eden Prairie for a fun morning of making pizza and chocolate covered marshmallows.  This is such a fun spot that you need to check out – it’s great for kids’ birthday parties, parent-chid classes and classes for older children, but they also have adult classes and team building, so it’d be a great place for a Moms’ night out with girlfriends too!  Lynn, the owner, has been open for years and has two location – Eden Prairie and Savage.

Our little ones worked on pizza – what kid wouldn’t be excited!?

They got to make their own sauce, from scratch.  Lynn did a great job of showing the kids how to do the process on their own and letting them be independent and even make a bit of a mess. 🙂

Even our fantastic sponsor got in on the pizza making action!

While the pizzas were cooking, everyone (grown-ups too!) got to make a chocolate covered marshmallow with sprinkles (this keeps getting better and better!).

Afterwards, it was time to eat!  The pizza was delicious and it was so fun to watch the kids make their own (early) lunch!

As always, our fabulous sponsors came with all kinds of goodies for the kids (including tooth shaped pasta for our tiny chefs!) and plenty of information for the mommas too.

Metro Pediatric has four locations – St. Paul, Eagan, North Oaks and Fridley and all of the dentists are specialized to treat children specifically.  You can find them on their website, and on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Stay tuned for next week’s announcement of our Holiday Playdate with Metro Pediatric Dental Associates – it’s going to be a great one!
