Open your mind to Open Streets

Open Streets has a goal to help our community imagine what cities could look like if they weren’t congested by cars and to celebrate the corners of Minneapolis. It’s part of a global movement to make streets places that put people first.

This event is FREE, open to the public, and family-friendly!

In 2011, Open Streets was hosted by Our Streets Minneapolis, and at that first event, an estimated 5,000 people attended, reimagining Lyndale Avenue as a space for biking, walking, community building, and play.

The event features more than 300 participants that fill the streets with artists, musicians, campaigns, food trucks, and more.
