The Britax 2017 B-Ready Stroller: A Complete Review + STROLLER GIVEAWAY | Twin Cities Familys Blog

In the past three years, I’ve had two kids and four strollers. Yes, four. And of all of those strollers, I can honestly say that my new Britax B-Ready stroller is by far my favorite, for so many reasons.

When I first became a mom, I had no idea what would be important to me in a stroller. And after far too many bad stroller experiences, I can finally say that there are 5 important things I look for when buying a stroller:

  1. Weight: I’ve learned that weight is SO important when it comes to choosing a stroller. There is nothing worse than a stroller that is so heavy that you can hardly lift it to get it into your trunk or have to use all of your might just to make a turn when you’re out for a walk. The Britax B-Ready is by far the most lightweight and easy to maneuver stroller I’ve ever used!
  2. Size: Size goes hand in hand with weight. Every mom has experienced the struggle that is trying to simultaneously open a door and push your stroller through it at the same time, only to discover the stroller is too wide to make it through, and awkwardly getting you kid wedged in the doorway. While this stroller has ample storage space underneath the seat and a spacious child seat, it is by no means bulky and so easy to maneuver through doorways, or anywhere! The Britax 2017 B-Ready Stroller: A Complete Review + STROLLER GIVEAWAY | Twin Cities Familys Blog
  3. Canopy: It amazes me how many strollers have canopies that don’t quite reach down far enough to shield your little one or don’t stay put, leaving your child blinded by the sun and the cause of one too many tantrums, #amiright? Well, this bad boy has a fantastic canopy, completely shielding kids from the sun or other weather, and even a magnetic “peek-a-boo” window for the driver to check in on the little ones while the canopy is in use!
  4. Customizable: Another struggle I’ve had since becoming a mom (and the reason I’ve owned so many strollers) is because none of the ones I’ve owned in the past have had everything I needed. The first was great for one kid, but was bulky and hard to push. The second had tires that always went flat. The third was a little better but then I got pregnant and needed a stroller for two. And the 4th was this Britax stroller. It has EVERYTHING I need, including tons of storage space, it’s lightweight and easy to collapse and lift into my trunk, has an insulated organizer for my coffee, and the child seat can easily recline or be turned to face the person pushing with a simple click. You can also switch out the seat for an infant carseat or add a bassinet attachment. Not only is it great for one kid, but you can also add a second seat which hardly takes up any additional space, making this the most lightweight and easy to maneuver double stroller I’ve seen yet.The Britax 2017 B-Ready Stroller: A Complete Review + STROLLER GIVEAWAY | Twin Cities Familys Blog
  5. Safety: I will never forget the first time I brought my baby to the mall as a new mom. When we were back in the parking lot getting ready to go home, I thought I had pushed down the break and was putting my baby in the car. When I was finished, I turned to get the stroller, only to find that it had disappeared. Apparently, I hadn’t pushed the break down hard enough, and the stroller had started rolling away from me, heading straight for oncoming traffic. It was terrifying thinking that my baby could have been in there. And from that point on, stroller safety has been so important to me. Not only does this stroller have strong secure straps that are easy to buckle on and off, but it also has the smoothest foot pedal break that turns red when your breaks are securely in place, and green when your breaks are released. It is easy to push with one foot and you don’t have to worry about whether your child will be going anywhere when you don’t want them to!

If only I would have found this stroller back when I first became a mom, I would have never had to purchase any others. So, if you’re in the market for a great stroller that can grow and accommodate you and your family’s needs, I highly recommend the 2017 Britax B-Ready!
