Mark your calendar for Fall Fest 2026, a free annual event celebrating the beautiful nature in Minnesota while highlighting some of Gale Woods Farm’s unique offerings.
Head over to the Festival Village throughout the day to grab a bite to eat or a drink while enjoying live music!
Find things to do all day long, all around the farm. Make sure to stop by the sheepdog herding demonstrations to watch Border Collies herd sheep using only cues from their handlers!
Explore the journey your food takes from the farm to your table! Visit the gardens, buy produce and watch a cooking demonstration with farm-fresh foods.
Fiber Arts
While at Fall Fest, learn about wool and the art of fiber work!
Here are some of the fiber art activities available throughout the day:
- Make a soap scrubbie or a fall-on-a-stick themed wool fiber craft to take home ($3).
- Visit the Fiber Vendor Pavilion to watch interactive wool and fiber arts demonstrations.
- Step inside a traditional fiber art yurt, made of fiber materials such as felted wool, and then join artists inside the pavilion for demonstrations.
