Original Mattress Factory Bedrace for Bridging | Buck Hill
The Original Mattress Factory Bedrace for Bridging returns to Buck Hill on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM—and team registration is now open!
Teams of four will race down the Buck Hill tubing hill on queen-sized mattresses while showing off creative costumes and raising funds for Bridging, a Twin Cities nonprofit that helps more than 5,000 families each year pursue housing stability and furnish their homes with hope.
Participants must be 18 or older and are asked to raise a minimum of $600 per team to compete, with 100% of funds going directly to Bridging. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the action and enjoy a lively outdoor party area featuring music, s’mores, hot chocolate, a bonfire, a beer garden, and more. After the races, the celebration moves indoors for awards and dancing.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded for fastest teams, best costumes, and top fundraisers. Raffle tickets will also be available for $20 each for a chance to win more than $13,000 in outdoor furniture donated by YARDBIRD.
