Owamni Falling Water Festival | Father Hennepin Bluff Park – St Anthony Falls

October 10 @ 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The 2026 Owámni Falling Water Festival will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11 am to 4 pm at Father Hennepin Bluff Park. Join us for a celebration of Indigenous culture, music, food, art, and history in one of the Twin Cities’ most culturally significant places.

The festival honors the cultural and historical significance of Owámniyomni, the Dakota name for the falls, meaning “turbulent water.” This event is made possible through the generous support of a grant from the Saint Anthony Falls Heritage Board.

Visitors can enjoy Indigenous-owned food vendors, Indigenous artists and makers, nonprofit community partners, live musical performances, traditional dance, and hands-on games and art activities for all ages.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the rich history, lifeways, and vibrant cultures of the Indigenous peoples whose connections to this place continue today.
