Experience the culmination of a multi-year collaboration between SPCO Sandbox Composer-in-Residence Gabriela Lena Frank, poet and librettist J. Drew Lanham, the SPCO and The Great Northern: a world premiere for baritone and chamber orchestra in which Frank grapples with the complicated legacy of the celebrated 18th century ornithologist John James Audubon in context of our ongoing ecological crisis — all through the imagery of birds.
