Local Love: All Clean Food

Today we are sharing our LOCAL LOVE for All Clean Food and it’s Founder Laura Meemken!

“We want every family, and especially families with allergies and sensitivities to know we are here for them!”

All Clean FoodTell us all about you! What you do and where your passions lie?

Hi, I’m Laura. I’m a Food Entrepreneur, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist & Natural Health Advocate! I have been married to Michael for 12 years and we have three kids we absolutely adore. I love to cook, sing, watch musicals, read, run, do yoga and meditate (ahhh…breathing). I value my family, faith and showing kindness to ALL. I care deeply about helping people eat well and feel well and I’m honored to be able to do that with All Clean Food!

Tell us all about All Clean Food!

At All Clean Food our mission is to make eating well easier for ALL, including those with allergies and sensitivities. As a working mom of three I know how hard it can be to feed your family well AND as a mom to kids with allergies, I know how impossible it can feel to find food the whole family can eat and will love! Because I could not find easy healthy meals to feed my own family, I launched All Clean Food in Feb 2020. We make Organic pasta meals to keep in your pantry for a busy day. In addition to being DELICIOUS they are made from REAL ingredients (no preservatives or “flavorings”), are Gluten-free and FREE FROM the top 14 allergens so ALL around the table can enjoy!

What do you love about the Twin Cities area? Why is it the perfect place for your business?

The Twin Cities is a vibrant and innovative community with great support for emerging food brands.

What is the best way for our TCMC community to support your business?

Helping us spread the word on social is SO appreciated! Feel free to share coupon codes as well. We want every family, and especially families with allergies and sensitivities to know we are here for them!

Now let’s talk about your role as a mother and friend. How do you prioritize friendships and connections with women?

One of the things I love most about being a woman is the sisterhood we share with other women. I believe in raising each other up and being vulnerable/real with one another. I love having coffee dates with peers and colleagues, going to lunch for friends’ b-days, hosting showers and bringing all the kids and meeting at the park.

Being a mom is no easy task in and of itself. How do you relax and take care of you?

I like taking time to myself to go to yoga, go on a run or walk, take a bath and read or watch a show in the evening. I try hard to invest in myself (e.g., massages) as much as a do my children in order to stay healthy for my family and myself.

What’s been your greatest joy in motherhood?

Seeing my children be confident, show kindness to others and develop into the unique and beautiful people they are.

How do you hope your lives influence and/or inspire other women?

I hope that I can encourage other woman to be bold, believe in their strengths and abilities and go after what they want in life. There is no need to let fear or insecurities hold us back. We are capable of so much more than we often give ourselves credit for.
