We are SO excited to be participating in Moms for Moms Day tomorrow, March 4th. If you haven’t heard of this yet, it’s part of an effort to end the Mommy Wars, which are all too common, even amongst groups of friends.

This initiative has been put together by The Bump and CT Working Moms – their vision for the day is:
The journey to motherhood is flooded with decisions (from the type of diapers you’ll buy, to the ways you’ll feed your infant, to the sleep-training methods you’ll subscribe to) and our goal is to support, encourage and stand behind each and every mother’s choices — and Moms for Moms Day is our way of putting an end to the judgments that moms make toward one another.
We LOVE this idea and are so excited to get involved as the Twin Cities Familys Blog Community – yes, that means YOU!! We’ve always wanted our team to reflect a variety to parenting choices and we know that there isn’t one path that makes a mother a good one. We are thrilled to be involved in this!
You can read a bit more about how you can be involved in this day here.
We’re getting involved and we want YOU to join us! How?
Snap a picture holding your sign sharing messages of love and support and send it to us at
info {at} twincitiesmomsblog {dot} com.
Take a picture with just yourself or grab a girlfriend or two and snap away!
The Bump has made it super simple – no having to make your own sign! Check out their free printable templates. So easy! You can use one of their, or print the blank template on page one and write your own messages. Take a pic with a girlfriend or on your own.
We’d love to keep up with your Moms4Moms pics on Instagram, so please use the hash tag #Mom4Moms and #TCMBMoms4Moms. Follow us on Instagram @twincitiesmomsblog and we’ll post pics throughout the day.
We will compile all the pictures into a photo gallery that will be both on Facebook and a part of our Moms For Moms blog post on tomorrow evening. We’ll also be sharing them via social media throughout the day!
So let’s unite and “love more and judge less”!
