Last night, we met up with some of the Mombassadors from our Neighborhood Mom Groups at Q.Cumbers in Edina. We all laughed about how nice it is to have a big, healthy salad, without having to make all of the individual ingredients, because we just wouldn’t go to the trouble for ourselves. It was a great spot, and definitely a spot to hit up with the kids.
Q. Cumbers is an award-winning, buffet-style restaurant in Edina that offers a menu of healthy, made-from-scratch foods. Since 1990, they’ve strived to be among the healthiest restaurants in Minneapolis by providing the freshest ingredients possible, with an emphasis on vegetables, homemade soups, salads and entrees.
They allow families to eat fast – without the fast food and without breaking the bank. For example, on Mondays, the restaurant holds a Kids’ Night where after 4 p.m. kids eat for $0.99 (limit: 2 children, ages 3-12, per paying adult).
Q. Cumbers is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of nutrition and fitness classes, including an Outdoor Yoga and Brunch event with Corepower Yoga at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 7.
The 25th anniversary events will culminate on June 12 with an outdoor concert, headlined by The Voice season six top-five semifinalist Kat Perkins. The concert includes a picnic dinner and proceeds benefit PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.

I’ve driven by Q. Cumbers so many times, and have always meant to check it out! I didn’t realize how kid-friendly they are, and now that I have a 10 month old, I’ll have to move it to the top of my “must try” list.

Our family LOVES Q-Cumbers! I’ve been eating there since I was a kid and now it’s one of our FAVORITE places to grab a quick dinner with our three kiddos! Monday nights are awesome! 🙂
