Recap: Girls Night at the West End

We’d first like to say a great big THANK YOU to all 225 women who came out last Thursday for Girls Night at the West End.  We’re so grateful to you for spending your evening with us – we loved seeing your faces in person and hope you enjoyed a night away just for you!

A great big Thank You to the West End for such a beautiful space and to Cooper for keeping things running smoothly – the food was fantastic and the bar was, well, just what these mamas ordered!  How about the wine provided by Rainbow Liquor – did you end up with Red or White? If you haven’t stopped into Cooper for happy hour yet, we highly recommend a return visit!

The Shopping

Our vendors were amazing! If you couldn’t find something adorable or yummy to go home with, we’re not sure you were really there – Kokoon, Noonday Collection, HauteBarre, MINQ, LaLaRed, Wish Boutique, Barrel Butter, Apricot Lane and Ladibugs Hair Care all came ready with their best products and we loved having all of you.  The party ended, but you didn’t let that stop you – we saw more than a few of you wandering the many Shops at the West End and ending the night with a few cocktails at their great restaurants. 

The Raffle

We didn’t know what to expect when we set out to do our giveaways as raffle prizes.  We were honored to have worked with Second Stork and grateful to Max from their Board of Directors who was kind enough to join us for the evening and share a bit about their mission and how they’re helping Twin Cities Familys in need.

We are simply amazed at what you did for this organization!  The moms of the Twin Cities raised over $900 for Second Stork, plus you brought along diapers and other supplies that they’ll be able to hand out to moms in our community.  Your generosity is impressive, and the raffle wouldn’t have been possible without these amazing sponsors, who all donated some unbelievable prizes:  Bump Club and Beyond, Britax, Pinstripes, Welcome Baby Care, Haute Barre, Bruegger’s Bagels, Pinstripes, Bergstrom Jewelers, Peter Rabbit Organics, Big Island Swim and Surf, phresh spa salon, Milk Nursingwear, MINQ, Francesca’s, Creative Kidstuff, Nutrishop, Apricot Lane, Forever Yogurt.

We may, or may not have overheard the winner of the Grand Prize Stroller saying, “It’s like a Lexus!”

The Movie

Sony was amazing and we’re so grateful to them for providing us with a private screening at ICON Theater.  We do hope you enjoyed the movie, one made just for moms and perfect for a Moms Night Out!  Three cheers for a movie that doesn’t have cartoon characters or a sing-a-long album!

The Swag

We have found these events to be one of the best parts of Twin Cities Familys Blog – we so enjoy meeting you in person, seeing so many moms take a night for themselves and giving us the chance to get to know you a bit.  We’ll have even more of Leah’s pictures up on Facebook later today – check them out and see if you can spot yourself!
