This time-saving, life-changing, oh-my-goodness, tip I am about to share is going to give you back your Saturday afternoons. It’s gonna save 2 gallons of gas a month and your jaw will drop. Are you ready?
I stumbled upon this, literally. I tripped over a huge box on my neighbor’s doorstep the other night, with my bottle of wine in tow. I saw the big red bullseye tape all over it, you know what that is. And that’s when I heard about Target Subscriptions. Do y’all know about this? It will be a life saver for those homes with two working parents, or for that at-home Momma who has a traveling husband and going out in the brutal winter to get bulky items could cause an anxiety attack. It’s perfection for that Mom that has a cartfull of food and two or more kids and realized they need toilet paper too!
At Target.com you can shop 1000’s of items you never wanna run out of, and set the schedule as to how often you want to receive them. I don’t know about your house, but we have used the same brand of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent in the 8 years I have been married. We have our brands we like and we get these sorts of things, every month or so. What am I saying? We….ahem… I, go and get these things regularly. And I don’t know about you, but I feel like I live at the grocery store with all of the hungry mouths I feed. Those things aren’t fun to buy, they are heavy, and they take up a huge amount of the cart and car, and frankly…they are no fun to run out of either. Have you had to make a run to the gas station for TP? Yup.
There are all sorts of items available on this service. Another category that will come in handy? Toiletries. My husband tells me he needs deodorant/razors after he runs out. This way, they are on order or I have one waiting on the shelf in my bathroom closet. For you mommas needing diapers? They are on there too! Does your knight in shining armor hate to go get you tampons? He never will have to again, it’s there, plain as day, the one you like the best, ready for you to click on it.
Target isn’t paying me to tell you about this. I just found out and I needed to share. The best part is you set the time that you need these items. Say you have enough TP to make it through the winter…push out your next delivery on it. Simple as that.
Also, you get to save 5% off on the items, plus 5% off when you use your red card and the shipping is free. Free shipping! Say that slowly….free shipping on toilet paper and you didn’t have to make an extra trip elsewhere. Brilliant, and every.mom.should.know.about.it.
I think I just gave you back your Saturday afternoon. Booya.
{Trust me, Momma, I know you are on your smart phone and you can’t find it.
Go log onto your computer it’s at the upper right hand corner where you used to put your name on all your papers in school…yeah, click on that.
If that doesn’t do it, type “subscriptions” in the search bar.}

Suzanne, I knew you wrote this before I even saw your pretty face 🙂 I just heard about this the other night! They will for sure give Amazon a run for their $$
Awww thanks Amy, can you tell by my bloggy voice?? I think it will, Amazon is great, but I buy a lot of Market Pantry brand and Up and Up!
Great tip! I have heard of people using this service and really like it! Do you know if this applies to Target’s own UP&UP brand?
I haven’t searched to see which ones, but that’s what I use mainly!
I have been using Target Supcription for a few months now and love it. I have 2 in diapers and one on formula so it’s great having that delivered along with many other staples.
Glad to hear someone else knew about it and is liking it! All very heavy items for a Momma to carry, huh?
Hi! I was wondering if you can use cartwheel and coupons for ordering online. I usually buy whats on sale. Like the other week I got four bottles of Tresseme shampoo for $1- yes .25¢ each! If I can do a deal like that then this would change how I shop!
I am checking in on if you can use Cartwheel with it. Good coupons last week! Woo HOo!
Unfortunately at this time Cartwheel discounts can’t be applied to subscription orders. You do automatically receive sale/promotional pricing if any of your subscription orders fall within an eligible promo window. If you sign up for Tide this week and it is on sale when your next bottle ships 6 weeks from now you automatically get the reduced sale price . . . . this is in addition to your 5% off subscription + 5% red card.
Amazon offers the same sort of thing. Free shipping and 20% off of items if you have 5 or more in auto ship (1 time a month), plus no tax over the internet.
Good info! I knew Amazon was good, it’s just nice with a local brand you know? I don’t have a Prime account with them, but I hear people love it!
All this time…thank you for posting, I’m going to check this out….wonder if on top of the 5% you can use cartwheel online shopping codes?
I’m checking on the Cartwheel thing…it started in April 2014, I guess.

Awesome info and post!! Thanks for sharing gorge!! Charmin Ultra Strong anyone…(yep: it’s the BEST TP on the market!!)
Yay! I NEED to sign-up for this! Thanks for sharing S!
Save yourself the hassle and just go with Amazon Subscribe & Save. It is WAY cheaper than the Target subscriptions. I have a newborn and I have been using it since he was born. You can clip coupons on Amazon and instantly apply them to your order. Plus, like mentioned above, you subscribe to 5 our more things in a month and you get a 20% off kicker. Totally worth it!
For example, Pampers Swaddlers:
Target Subscribe: $33.24 for 104 diapers .31/per diaper
Amazon Subscribe & Save: $35.99 for 144 diapers .25/per diaper
