7 Healthy Valentine’s Day Recipes

Every year on Valentine’s Day, my mom would buy Valentine’s socks for my sisters and me. It was a fun, silly tradition. My dad would give each of us a special card just from him usually containing a gift card of some sort–something he still does today (Love you, Dad!). Both were simple gestures that really made the holiday stand out for us and make us feel loved. And I want to do the same thing for my kids. I don’t go Pinterest crazy, but I do try and do a couple things to make the day stand out and worth remembering. One easy thing I do is make a special snack or meal. I know my kiddos will get plenty of sweets from family and friends, so I try and find healthier options, which for Valentine’s Day, a holiday known for it’s sweets and treats, is hard. But I found a few that look both delicious and EASY! Plus, you probably already have all the ingredients for some of them. Which one will you try?
