15 of our Favorite Water Parks & Pools in the Twin Cities

Minnesota may be the land of 10,000 lakes, but that doesn’t mean we are stuck with only swimming with the fish. Our metro area is FILLED with just as many options for water parks and pools from big to little.

Test your bravery on high diving boards, feel the rush of a downward spiral slide, or practice your swimming in the big lap pools. Every corner of the Cities has a waterpark or pool to delight and these are our favorites. What’s yours?

NORTHEAST

Giant pool with three different slides, a splash pad, lap swimming, water sports, and an adjacent 18-hole mini-golf course.
Open: June 7th, Daily from 1 PM – 7 PM

 

Como Regional Park Pool | 1151 Wynne Ave, St Paul

The lazy river and zipline are the highlights of this pool, along with a splash pad for little ones and slides of different sizes.

Open: June 11: Mon/Wed: 12 PM – 6 PM, Tues/Thurs/Fri: 12 PM – 8 PM, Sat: 11 AM – 7 PM, Sun: 11 AM – 6 PM

 

Bunker Beach Water Park | 701 County Rd A, Coon Rapids

Everything you love about a water park–wave pools, splash pad, water playground, lazy river, sand areas, water sports, and concessions.
Open: Starting June 7th – August 24; 11 AM – 7 PM

SOUTHEAST

Cascade Bay Waterpark | 1360 Civic Center Dr, Eagan

Cascade Bay Waterpark

This giant water park features a lazy river, zero-entry pool & slides, splash zones, plus mini-golf.

Open: Starting June 6

Highland Park Aquatic Center | 1840 Edgcumbe Rd, St Paul, MN 55116

The diving boards, climbing walls into the pool, drop slides for the big kids, a fun giant whale bone splash zone for the little ones, and a lap pool for practicing swimming for all.

Open: Starting June 11

 

Battle Creek Waterworks | 2401 Upper Afton Rd E, Maplewood

CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS UNTIL 2026

The three-story twisting slide is the highlight here in addition to a sandy beach and zero-entry pool.

Public pool featuring Zero-depth entry, 201-foot water slide & drop slide, Log crossing & rock wall, play structure, and more.

Richfield Outdoor Pool | 630 E 66th St, Richfield

This large pool facility features Splash Pad/Water Playground, Water Slides, Lap Swimming, Swimming Lessons, Diving Boards/Platforms, Water Sports, and Concessions.
Open: Starting June 6 – August 20

 

Edina Aquatic Center | 4300 W 66th St, Edina

Pirate kiddie pool, wave simulator, cable zipline ride oh my! There is something fun for everyone here!
Open: Starting June 5 – July 31.  See website for August hours.

 

St. Louis Park Aquatic Center | 3700 Monterey Dr, St Louis Park

One of the only pools around to offer a water obstacle course, plus other fun features like water slides, sand areas, diving boards, and more.
Open: Starting June 4 – August 24

 

Bloomington Family Aquatic Center | 201 E 90th St, Bloomington

North Commons Water Park | 1701 Golden Valley Rd, Minneapolis

The three-story speed and loop slides are the winners here.
CLOSED for the 2025 season for construction.

 

Webber Park Swimming Pool | 4300 Webber Pkwy, Minneapolis

This zero-depth entry and naturally treated pool is perfect for the little swimmers plus admission is FREE!
Open: Starting June 7 – August 17

Post season: August 18 – September 1, check website for details.

 

Crystal Cove Aquatic Center | 4848 Douglas Dr. N, Crystal

Enjoy the splash pad for little ones, water slides and diving boards for big ones, and an oversized pool for all.

Grove Cove Aquatic Center Outdoor Pool | 12951 Weaver Lake Rd, Maple Grove 

In addition to two indoor pools, this aquatic center features an outdoor water park with a lazy river, tumble buckets, a log walk, a tot slide, and water sprays for the smaller kids.
